What are some must have/nice to have clickies for mages?

The mud pet proc is great, but I'm wondering what would be a good replacement for this weap? Also, should I consider throwing the orb into some bandolier if I do find a replacement?

I've found out with care steam factory is moloable, still not the best puller and I get alot of deaths though. Any ideas on how to pull the last room (engineering) for Destroying the Competition? I've been using pet DA to train out rooms but I haven't had any luck for that one.

Water pet with companions relocation on longer raids, on short ones or if I want to solo after I'll use air. I'll use fire if I'm feeling lazy or if it's best to keep Goner next to me for whatever reason.

How difficult is the raid for the conjuration stone? Any tips/strategies I should know about?

I managed to get the MG group portions done six months ago and I was wondering if the remainder of the quest will be feasibly moloable/soloable?

You could just beam PoI, Roost, Old Seb, Dulak's/Nadox, Mesa (giants, centaur), etc for some easy plat. The elements in Katta are okay plat and they're very weak.

What are some decent zones for solo/molo AAs that doesn't require a grp task at lvl 81? I'm usually up at odd hours for my sever, so that makes it difficult for me to find people to pick a task up/group with. I'm not keyed for anything , I have EM3 pet focus, and about 1k AAs.

When I last played EQ I was told by higher levels to max out my AAs. Atm I'm (was) just a level 76 mag with 550 AAs and no guild (I think). I've so far found AAs useful and life-saving in some fights. Is there a point where the AAs don't really have that much affect on typical group mobs? How differ...
