My pet is always on hold. So all i do is back it off. If i want it to stay there and get beat on, guard and back off is what is do.

In general, either solo or in group i make a camp and park the pet there so guard isn't needed, its already guarding.

If you really want to buy gear for your pet just do what I do. Set up buy lines in the bazaar and offer more than merchants will pay but not anywhere near selling prices. I pay between 150pp (for elegant defiant breastplates) down to 25pp (for elaborate defiant plate wristguards) for pet gear. Also...

Click it on yourself, once buffed with it, summon a NEW pet. Pet summoned will be focused till it dies. Or you die.. hehe

Most will know this but some might not, if you CoTH someone that Doted a mob. The mob will reaggro, even across zone (well depends on the zone really, some are big enough that distance will cancel the aggro) on the next tic.

Just as fyi, its 1000 dmg per tick once its fully AAed. Never checked to see if it procs the 32k, i use it semi regularly (works on golems). Usually the mobs dead before it ends so not sure how long it lasts .. so umm, it does a 1000 dmg is all the info i have
