So if all you had was the EM2 focus from Void E, you are better off using the 81 Pet with EM2 focus rather than the unfocused 86 Air pet? I am not in that situation but I knowa few who are.

Parses need to be done ok the test server honestly. You can't pick random mobs in random zones. Every zone has different base stats for mobs, also each type of mob have diff mitigation and AC which effects the final outcome of the hits. I did the tests with the pet naked. No weapons, no buffs, nothing, just summoned it and sent it at grey mobs in Walls of Slaughter.

86 pet without EM - 404 Max Hit

86 pet with EM 2 - 404 Max Hit again (tested it many times on different mobs)

86 pet with EM 4 - 434 Max Hit

I don't have parses to show, but I just tested the 86 Air pet in Walls of Slaughter. Without any buffs or focus it hits for 404, like you said. With EM4 and no buffs it hits for 434 max.

Sounds like EM 4 is not working with the pet or they've really upped scaling on the high EMs but made it crap on the low EMs. 470 is barely above the 81 pet max hit, whereas 581 is way above what the 81 pet max hit. My 86 pet was max hitting for 581, not counting crits. Old 81 air was max hit 466 with the same focus, so that's a decent improvement. Which focus do you have because that's a heck of a lot more than the EM4 pet is hitting for! EM7 Nice! Em4 pet only hits for 470, guess I need a new focus asap.
