Re: LF Mage

Hey guys, We lost an exceptionally friendly and highly skilled mage this week. So we have one slot open. I was going to post a late April Fools application, and to say hi, but I forgot Charsi yanked my write privs over a year before I left SI. :) So tell Reclues, Filtiky, Lyrik and the other cool o...

EQ sold...

I quit EQ 4 years ago. The hackers made it impossible to cancel at the time as Sony pulled the plug. Anyway, a recent e-mail says I may be entitled to station cash. Can expansions be bought with sc? My character only had 46 useless AA to max his last expansion and it is my understanding the game gra...

Re: Ebola

As far as weaponizing diseases is concerned, in a globalized economy it is suicidal as a weapon of mass destruction. Far more likely diseases will be weaponized for personalized destruction.

Re: Ebola

Ebola has been safely contained to date because it is hard to transmit. The problem is that every time a person catches the virus, it has the chance to mutate into an air born version. Now that more people have been infected than in the history of the plague, those chances have grown at an exponent...

Re: *blink*

The Tea Party is all about not compromising. They are not interested in governing. Cruz and Demint target Republicans who compromise and fund their opposition. Heritage hiring Demint was a massive mistake. Heritage Action's bus tour promoting the shutdown strategy over ACA was directed at Republican...

Re: *blink*

holy smurf, how am I still the top poster??? For years the vast majority of the posts on this website were in the politics forum. When the more conservative posters on the website, began winning the arguments and making the liberals look like idiots, a decision was made to bury the politics forum i...

Re: *blink*

There are not enough active users left to discuss issues.

The Republicans are adept at being the stupid party. The Democrats are in denial on looming debt issues.

Not much has changed.

Re: Arcane distillect, Broken?

Or you have 25 DPS classes holding your guild back and now you can see who the dickheads are. Or same goes for healing, it actually encourages people to play better and for more teamwork to occur because you need to time things out to maximize your char. It always amused me when I ranked near the t...

Re: Questions about the Mage

Water pets have less HP. Great DPS if behind the mob but that means positioning every mob. Water pet don't need to be behind to backstab anymore. Excellent change! I had 'backstab' audio triggered for raiding with my water pet. Just before my retirement it would set the trigger off no matter where ...

Re: Questions about the Mage

My Mage will be joining my box crew of Bard, Shaman, and Necro. I won't be raiding on these characters, I'll just be playing for AA grinding and group progression. So two questions... 1. Pets: I'm reading some conflicting information on which pet fits best for each role. Water for dps, Air for dps ...
