Pets have a predetermined level. Each pet has a base level and then a level adjusted based on what focus you have. None of them are variable. It is also possible to have a pet of a certain spell be all the same level for many focii.

Basically, they are no longer variable; they are fixed level.

They will take and equip them but ignore the stats; basically just giving them a cool look. Pets will not gain anything from a weapon that has a requirement level higher than their own.

Be careful with how much % of our total damage you put into pets compared to spells, considering pets are still broken from a dps perspective (still suffering like they did during VoA).
