Stunned by a gust of air isn't a message telling you the mob was stunned, it's a message saying the overall spell air elemental strike landed. They resist the stun, but the nuke still lands, hence we get the message still.

They are not stunning anything above 90 currently.

Did I miss where he said we'd definitely be getting an alternative means of casting the illusion if they did get split off? You can't rely on things like that to just happen. The current functionality is zip Vora. The current AAs are practically only an illusion.

If they're upgraded - ditch the illusion. If they're left as is - keep the illusion.

It's not so clearly defined though, because we're unsure of the future uses of the AA. As is, they already are purely aesthetic. If they change, the illusion may become a burden. Without knowing whether or not they'll be upgraded like we've asked for, we can't give a simple answer.

Ditch the illusion only if another alternative means of casting it is made available imo. It's very much a part of the mage class to be able to transform, and we'd be losing a part of our heritage.

Short answer: keep the illusion, since that's kinda the point of it. Long answer: it really depends if anything is going to be done with them in the future. We've been seeking upgrades with more modern/useful effects for a while now. If the effects are going to be brought up to more modern standards...
