Since I didn't see this addressed elsewhere as a single information topic, I figured I would make a post and collect much of this information in one spot. I WILL be updating this first post in the next few days via the Edit function so future mages don't have to read through 10 pages to get the basics.

Frenzied Burnout is an AA that can be purchased starting at level 59. Like other AA's it has several ranks of strength that can be only purchased as you level up. It also has 2 additional shared AA's that decrease the reuse time Hastened Burnout and extend the time it stays on once activated Extended Burnout.

Frenzied Burnout Rank 1 lvl-59 AA-6
2: Increase AC by 90
4: Increase Haste v3 by 15%
7: Increase STR by 20
9: Increase ATK by 200
10: nothing
11: nothing
Duration: 6 tics (36 seconds)

Frenzied Burnout Rank 2 lvl-?? AA-??

9: Increase ATK by 350
10: Increase Chance to Hit by 10% with All Skills
11: Increase All Skills Damage Modifier by 110%

Frenzied Burnout Rank 3 lvl-?? AA-??

4: Increase Haste v3 by 25%
7: Increase STR by 28
9: Increase ATK by 385
10: Increase Chance to Hit by 11% with All Skills
11: Increase All Skills Damage Modifier by 121%
Duration: 6 tics (36 seconds)

Frenzied Burnout Rank 4 lvl-81 AA-10
2: Increase AC by 126
4: Increase Haste v3 by 30%
7: Increase STR by 31
9: Increase ATK by 420
10: Increase Chance to Hit by 12% with All Skills
11: Increase All Skills Damage Modifier by 132%
Duration: 6 tics (36 seconds)

Frenzied Burnout Rank 5 lvl-86 AA-10
2: Increase AC by 138
4: Increase Haste v3 by 30%
7: Increase STR by 35
9: Increase ATK by 460
10: Increase Chance to Hit by 13% with All Skills
11: Increase All Skills Damage Modifier by 143%
Duration: 7 tics (42 seconds)

Hastened Burnout
Frenzied Burnout has a starting refresh time of 15 minutes. There are 5 ranks of Hastened Burnout and each one of them decreases the reuse time by 1 minute. Each of those ranks of Hastened Burnout costs 5 AA per and are level-restricted abilities.

Extended Burnout
Extended Burnout increases the duration of Frenzied Burnout by 2 tics (12 seconds) per rank. There are 9 ranks of Extended Burnout that each cost 5 AA points and are also level-restricted abilities.

--- Some Examples for Reference ---
A level 90 Mage with Rank 1 Frenzied Burnout, No Extended Burnout, and no Hastened Burnout will have...
Burnout Time: 36 Seconds
Down Time: 864 Seconds
Percent of time with Burnout Pet: 4.2%

That same level 90 Mage with Rank 5 Frenzied Burnout, Rank 9 Extended Burnout, and Rank 5 Hastened Burnout will have...
Burnout Time: 150 Seconds
Down Time: 450 Seconds
Percent of time with Burnout Pet: 25%

So, with full AA you have 1/4 of your time spent with A Burnout Pet. Considering you can suspend the pet after each kill, and pop him back out after your mob is in camp you can even make that percent time higher! Next I will go over some basic information about the difference between the actual DPS increase given by a Burnout pet. (coming soon)

Hi all, first post here. I've played EQ for about 10 years now (as an enchanter) and just recently really got into a Mage. My Mage is level 70 and I was looking at the Frenzied Burnout AA series. Just wanted to let you all know that I will fill in the missing info here very soon!

Edit: Will edit the quotes with correct numbers

Not sure if it affected every rank or not, but at least rank 5 gives the fire pet an additional big nuke every so often (I wanna say every 5 or 6 sec, but haven't really timed it). You'll see in your pet damage window something like 6k... 6k... 15k... 6k... 6k... 15k... Still no where near the benefit of a melee pet, but at least they get some bonus now.

It came with the new ranks for HoT but I don't recall Eli making it go back. So, unless you have the HoT ranks, your fire pet will not get this crit ability.

I have rank one, and yes there is an effect from FB, i can't remember if he was critting or casting an additional nuke because of my filters, but he was casting some 10,000 plus nukes... fyi

This is to get calebe going

Didn't Koz tell us this was simply impossible when the suggestion was made shortly after the fire pets got "FIXED"?

Said no way that FBO could be made to increase fire pet DPS iirc...

If it was not Koz who said it, I appologize.

Sued...
