Basic Questions

Post by Goranothos »

(1) How to get there?

So, how does one go about zoning into HoT? Will we receive a new inventory clicky? Hail a mob in PoK? Dance a jig on top of a nexus spire?

(2) Where are the spell vendors?

Once we arrive in the entrance zone in HoT, where are the spell vendors to purchase the 86 air pet and other spells that will immediately be buyable without building up faction?

From the patch notes...

Adventurers in the Feerrott have noticed a statue on the banks of the Greenblood river. Touching this statue transports them to a strange version of the Feerrott, one that appears to contain something new... what lies within the House of Thule?

They're not actually replacing the old feerrott it seems, just adding a new one you can zone in to.

So....we click a statue in the old Feerrott, are transported to a new (high level) Feerrott, which is the "entrance zone" of HoT? This new Feerrott contains two spell vendors at the river mouth that look like Leopards?

Seems like there was 5 vendors, each one selling spells of only one level.

There's a fisherman at the river too. 4 around the campfire (3 of which are leopards) and then the fisherman on the bank. The fisherman has most of the 86 spells and one of the leopards has the new mala spell. Strike of sand I didn't see on the vendors.

Feerrott hints:
1. Careful of the river itself - its filled with undead on the southern half. Safe places to cross are the bridge near the north, or high up on the south wall.
2. There are also a bunch of undead in the SW section.
3. The gorillas are in the NW section - some see invis.
4. Move around invis - save for the odd gorilla, the odd lizard mystic, named, and the undead most stuff doesn't see invis.
5. The quest giver for unlocking the progression mission is a frog near the RM zone line.
6. Most RK2 spells are by turning in dream fragments of various strengths to a lady gnome near the quest giving frog mentioned in 5.
7. The unlocking tasks for progression can be molo'd with a EM8 lvl 86 air pet.
8. The XP in this zone sucks.
