Burnout IX issue

Burnout IX issue

It seems Burnout IX Rk 2 is not an upgrade over Burnout VIII Rk 3 - specifically the damage mod is lower:

Burnout IX Rk. II Detail | History | Stacking | Raw Data
Slot Description
2: Increase All Skills Damage Modifier by 13%
3: Increase STR by 164
4: Increase Attack Speed by 85%
5: Increase ATK by 115
6: Increase AC by 53

Burnout VIII Rk. III Detail | History | Stacking | Raw Data
Slot Description
2: Increase All Skills Damage Modifier by 14%
3: Increase STR by 159
4: Increase Attack Speed by 85%
5: Increase ATK by 103
6: Increase AC by 47

If we compare to previous upgrade:

Burnout VIII Rk. II Detail | History | Stacking | Raw Data
Slot Description
2: Increase All Skills Damage Modifier by 13%
3: Increase STR by 149
4: Increase Attack Speed by 85%
5: Increase ATK by 96
6: Increase AC by 44

Burnout VII Rk. III Detail | History | Stacking | Raw Data
Slot Description
2: Increase All Skills Damage Modifier by 11%
3: Increase STR by 130
4: Increase Attack Speed by 85%
5: Increase ATK by 85
6: Increase AC by 39

Going on past data, the % should be higher, ie 16% based on past upgrades, or at least equal +1 or +2

Where did you get this data? I'm looking at alla and it's showing a dmg increase of 12/13/14 for rk 1/2/3. Would really like to know which is right.

Lucy. I checked because i noticed IX rk 2 wont overwrite VIII rk 3.. so something is definately off. - Actually, the info on Alla is right.. it IS 13% but 13 % is lower than the previous raid version, so it is not an upgrade as previous versions were.

Sounds like a bug to me. Previous BO's Rk3 version was always higher than the next version Rk1, but Rk2 should be higher...

No discrepancy. But not all rank 1's are gonna be better than the previous rank 3. The rank 2 should be better than the previous rank 3 though. You'll lose 1% dmg though but that's not even noticeable. It may not be overwriting because of this 1%. Probably nothing we can do about that but it really isn't even an issue to worry about.

Rank 2 of the new is better than rank 3 of the old one. Overwrite issue is a result of the slot 2.

Yes, but that slot 2 is probably the only really noticable stat. All values are minimal, but given a choice i think the damage mod shoul dbe at least equal :)

I'm pretty sure the damage mod % was like that all the way through beta from what I recall. I think it was mentioned that the damage mod should have been higher but it was never tuned. It doesn't matter too much since Arcane Distillect damage mod does not stack with it, it just takes the higher of the two, so you'll always be looking at 15% for this unless you don't have it up.
