Went through CToV, SL & Kael raids last night... I'm new to raiding ( as a damage class ). Wanted to run my Activated AA list by you guys here, see if I'm missing anything, and some basic parse numbers.

Silent casting as the pull comes in. ( or before charge )

Fire Core
FIrst Spire of the Elements

I do not have 7th to use.

I'm Casting 'Of many RkII', 100 Spear rk II, and 95 Spear Rk II on twincasts, repeat
When twincasts r all exhausted I start adding servants to my weave.

My best parse last night was on Lord Feshlak... No glyphs, no bards, no mana reverberation.

I was 16 million damage @ 80.1k dps, fight was 199 seconds.

Thoughts, advice? comparisons?

Type 3 augs? Which pet and what was on the pet? Damage potion?

Not using garg during twincast is costing u DMG. Also not using rains during a weave is hurting your DPS. You didn't mention if you used garg then forceful then garg again at the start. You didn't mention what pet buffs or if you used clicky pets.

Not a bad parse though some minor changes will beef it up a bit.

I'll try using gargs in my twincast lineup for short encounters. On the 3rd dragon, I asked if I could use my Rain ( since there are no adds in CToV encounters, cept 1 ), and was approved.

Yeah I use the loyalty bunny, & servant of ro, & HoE, are there others?


I forgot to click potion, but normally I would.

Was a Water pet, typical raid buffs, did 27k dps for 199 seconds

Yes I have a type 3 for every spell in my weave. Water pet @ 27k dps . Typical raid mgbs. No potion, forgot to click it.

Some people prefer to remove gargs from a burn setup, I personally use them 24/7. It depends on what you like to do, using them has worked well for me.

You were linking 199 second parses though where a garg used at 55-60 seconds will deal full DMG unlike on a burn.

Where does the rain fit in due to cast time and refresh?

Been a while but shouldn't you activate focus of arcanum aa line as well? Might help your non garg lineup..

I remove garg from my spell twincast, but use it during AA twincast.
I do the reverse with clicky nukes. I use clicky nukes during spell twincast, but remove during AA twincast.

Edit: Also, I don't use bunny because it interferes with garg.

Here's what you should be looking at. Still need to work rains in there, but in general it still holds true. Just update everything to the newer stuff.
