Re: Servermerges are out!
bertox? who ever heard of the bertox server?
Re: Servermerges are out!
Bertox has been my home for 10.9 years heh...

So what's the raiding and casual playstyle on Bertox these days?svenalo wrote:Bertox has been my home for 10.9 years heh...
Saryrn has Descendants and Dark Bane at the top of the raiding game. There's also Travellers of Norrath, Winter's Legacy and Shards of Time behind them in progression. Although this list is far from updated it should give you a general idea of where raiding stands: http://thesaryrntavern.yuku.com/topic/362" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Casual-wise, there's a reasonably decent population. Although Tweelis rarely gets played these days I do find a reasonable amount of people to group with on my SK when I feel like it. There is no open raiding system to speak of but some people do get together for stuff like CoA 2.0 orb runs and stuff like that.

Re: Servermerges are out!
Why eliminate (excuse me, "merge") ten servers and at the same time start a new one?
Re: Servermerges are out!
because some players want to play on a virgin server. They have been making a new ones every so often.
Re: Servermerges are out!
Raiding we got Shahrazad furthest along on UF progression, and then my guild Crusaders Valorous is next (we have about half the coins we need to start tier 7), then Eternal Sovereign. Omani might also are be taking potshots at Fippy, but not sure if they've beat him yet. Not much of an open raiding system at all (the last one died out some time ago). Some of us do go take a group and hit old aug dropping content and a few other things on occasion, but I don't really consider that raiding.Tweelis wrote:So what's the raiding and casual playstyle on Bertox these days?svenalo wrote:Bertox has been my home for 10.9 years heh...

Outside of raids it really depends on who you know and what you are trying to do in order to get a group...seems a lot like to sit in the GL shouting for buffs and LFG, but then bitch when they can't get anything going instead of just going out and doing something with the so called "less than perfect group". Boomerang was popular for a while, but folks don't do that much...folks still sit in PoK trying to get OMM groups going though if you are into those.
Re: Servermerges are out!
Someone also posted info on the guilds of bertox and saryn at SOE forums, including raid times, timezone, progression point, etc, etc.

Re: Servermerges are out!
I'd seriously reconsider playing on a virgin server, although I am not really interested in "progression". I do like the idea of no older toons transferring into the new server.
I had this really smurf awesome quote by RFK, but because we are only allowed 255 characters, I can't put it up here, so I am writing this in protest of a stupid smurf limitation.
