Hey Sued -

Well, I can't really ever quit unless I'm forced to go by personal circumstance. I've been battling one disaster after another for the last couple-three years. EQ is never far out of my mind and at the least I read the boards.

Thanks for the invite, btw. I love you guys, too.

On this particular issue, I'm much less concerned about this than the bickering on the SoE forum with that nutty BL.

Funny thing about Umlat - I worked with him quite awhile in-guild, and listened to his daily crying about BLs. I encouraged him to speak up on behalf of the BL class and to get involved, and during beta I went out of my way in PMs and on the beta board to lobby for upgrades for BLs. Which they got.

His strenuous whining about Mages and the "unfair" system and etc., etc., are disappointing to say the least. Some of those guys over there on the beta board last time were crying that they wanted Mage summoned armor to come equipped on their pets (boggle, hi, Mages summon armor). The whole BL thing needs to be resolved in-context of a class that needs a pet for support but that also buffs his pet, tanks with his pet, and has other hybrid abilities. It is a simple equation.

Malleria yeah, it isn't personal. And I'm glad you're over there fighting the good fight, but don't expect to get anything through that acorn-head.

As for the rains, I love them and am simply happy we got them. I use them all the time. =)

On the beta business, and precedence, I would suggest we look at this as a "new era" with respect to dev response. Calebe's observations of current dev posture are accurate, and if ANYTIME is a good time to push hard during beta and PMs, it is NOW.

We need to have our sh** together in beta with a coherent, strong message that we beat in concert, and with cadence, daily, weekly, monthly. We are inching up on that coherent message. I would say shoot for end of August, at the latest, to get some kind of message ratified and signed-off on this forum.

And forget about Tulisin except as a quasi-conduit. He is an embarrassment.
