Power sources

Hello,

I was wondering what is the most commenly used power sources for mages.

I usually use Light Orbs but have been thinking of useing ehteral one due to the larger mana gain.

Any suggestion and comment would be appericiated.

Ethereal is pretty much it.

Yup mostly ethereal. I carry a light one on me I switch to when doing VoA T1 raid. In the past I've used shadow, but no one makes them anymore.

I never use them. Hate the whole concept.

I use light. I carry around ethereal. With all the AEs and other stuff going on during raids I find 2500 hp have more value then the 800 mana gained by ethereal. If no AE issues or group game, ethereal probably doesnt hurt. 800 is such a small portion of our mana pools now though, so I tend to just stick with light full time.

Why shadow?

Hehe, just happened across this and realized I never did answer the question.

I used shadow for the 1 - 1 HP to mana conversion (-1200 for 1200) as opposed to ethereal of giving up more HPs than mana gained. The only drawback was a -120 hit to STR/STA but those stats were so far over cap it didn't make any difference to lose those.

But as I said before, no one makes shadow anymore.
