How much does each level of x give our pet y? If you know the % I would greatly appreciate it. I know that pet AAs surpass the bonuses given to players via AAs.

elemental/comp alacrity - flurry
elemental/comp fury - crits
Comp gift - heals (i read 5% per level?)
Sturdy Companion - mitigation

While we're on pets, I forgot which ones have which immunities. Ie. I'm looking to tune pets to certain NPC AE's. Correct if wrong, but I think it was:

Water is immune to poison attacks.
Fire is immune to cold attacks.
Air is immune to ? attacks.
Earth is immune to disease attacks.

Izzat right?

Ok I found this, all it says is water pet has high PR. And fire resists fire. Duh. I coulda sworn I read something a long time ago about earth pet and disease immunity.

Way back in the day we used to say immune, but I don't believe any pet is flagged as immune to any particular spell type. They just have very high resistances to some.

IIRC
Fire - fire
Water - poison
Earth - disease
Air - nada (or maybe it was magic)

AFAIK, it's been years upon years since anyone even investigated such theories because in the end it doesn't matter. AE's don't dictate which pet you are going to use.

Air is your general all purpose pet
Water is your raid pet (sometimes fire depending on situation)
Fire is your after death, mid fight, let's get the dps back up pet.
Earth is your tank.

I still use and will most likely continue to use air for tank for two reasons: stun, which is very helpful, and I hate the way the earth pet looks. Call me vain but it's just ugly and I don't want to look at it. :)

I've developed a certain affinity, no pun intended, for the earth pet. Being able to stand up to 2-3 mobs without a sweat is nice. Especially when in CoB or SoO.

Air has and will always be my go-to pet. I'll only break out earth if air can't stand up to what I'm trying to do.

Edit: But when I do box, I box a real cleric which is a million times better than a merc, so there's not much air won't do under that scenario.

I'm trying to solo some old world boss that has a dis based AE slow. Might save me some aggravation if earth pet doesn't get hit with the slow. Of course, the pet heal will remove it ... but I'm just strategizing and collecting knowledge for my own sake going forward.

Thx for infos. Any ideas on the AA % increases for:
elemental/comp alacrity - flurry
elemental/comp fury - crits
Comp gift - heals (i read 5% per level?)
Sturdy Companion - mitigation
?

I don't think anyone has parsed anything like that in ages. They all have diminishing returns the higher you go, but it's all worth getting.
