Arcane distillect, Broken?

Something that I find curious is the monk who always gets the best parses usually shows me with higher spell damage than my self parse. Any idea why this would be?

What MOB drops the Trade in Gem: Arcane Distillect RKII? Only thing I found so far was that it was found in Brell's Rest.

I don't know, but I know there's only one offered in the Bazaar for the last couple weeks, and the guy wants 15K. I'm just gonna skip it for now, and see if I can get it some other time.

There is ZERO reason to have anything other than rank 1 of AD. The other ranks only reduces it's mana cost by a few points. It does nothing else.
