Cauldrons Compared

Post by Yaddab »

Well having got the Cauldron of Endless goods finally, I set about comparing the two. Was it worth it, lol, not sure, but it is done now.

For anyone else comming up to it, though, here is a quick comparison between Many Things and Endless Goods:-

I don't know about Cauldron of Many Things, but for Cauldron of Endless Goods you need warmly faction with the supplier in Tosk -- Herald something, next to the spell-vendor at the zone to the Void.

Many things is droped for RK1 and ally with ladies of the light for rk2.

Not to nit pick, but there is no Ranks for this, it is Ladies of Light faction only.

Anyone have an idea behind why the cauldron poofs and any items it created also poof upon your death? It doesn't seem so overpowered that the poofing needs to happen especially with the really long reuse timer. I mean really 15 minutes in between would be long enough.

It was intentional. Makes a way for anti-stockpiling I guess. If you die occasionally, you can't have every item in stock forever.

The items don't poof if they're in your bank when you die :) I always throw spare weapons/masks in there incase I splat.

You must put cauldron items in the Shared Bank, Guild Bank, or, on another Character to prevent losing them when you die. Unless something has changed recently that I am unaware of.
