The Magician's Tower

I don't PvP, but I would have thought shadowflares DS, in combination with the various other DS spells at our disposal, made mages untouchable against pure melee except those who wield large 2h axes. How much is DS damage reduced in PvP?

not sure how to PVP, but i once heard it involvs : Shadowflare // water pet // call hither and kiteing around

If anyone who does PVP can post strats we all in the mage community would appreciate it
