Never had any plans on reconstructing the database. ;)

It's just for an archive. We lost so much data when the old tower went down. If we had a copy of it, important stuff could have been copied by hand, such as Library posts. But we didn't have anything recent.

The EQ2 mage forums on SOE website are pretty intense. If this site ever goes down I would recommend that we set up shop in SOE boards provided they give is several subforums. Of course politics would have to be tossed.

There are plenty of free places to set up off topic discussion like that, should worse come to worst...Though I really think that having two, or maybe even three or four, people with the ability to access the site and copy, move, or even keep it going should something unspeakable happen..

I would like to ask the admin if we could get a small panel of people, behind the scenes, who can maintain the anonymity of the board owner (since that seems to be what he/she wants) but still be able to swoop in to the rescue if the owner finds himself in a position that he can't keep up with the forum or just gets bored with it.
