Looking for a little advice

For some reason our shammies only like to use the AA malo and are not to quick with it. I get asked by RL's and necros to Malo alot of times. I will try out some of these new line ups and see if they help out. I should point out that i do not have Fire core yet. I wish i did and think it would help alot. I never get bards in my groups lucky to get echie a lot of times. Bards get put with Meele DPSers. Been asking RLs if I could be put in bard group to see if it help my dps. I was told that if i can out DPS some of our meele it would be considered im about 200k low atm.

If they put your Bards with melee DPS you should send tells and ask the bards for thei spire. Alot of melee have the Bard spire blocked because they get so many other buffs durring burns and it does next to nothign for them. However the second bard spire, Second Spire of the Minstrels, adds 500 to each spell cast and for Jolt it adds it to each wave of the Jolt spell so it will add 3500 points if you have enough pets on the mob. That alone will be a large boost in DPS.

I don't and never have used macros for nukes.

Who said anything about macro's? We're talking multibinding keys, so that the same keystroke will fire all your weave spells in a prioritized fashion (the weave). Macro's don't allow for flexibility, multibinding spells to the same key does.

Wasn't there data on the old boards indicating SoF's rk3 bolt was more DPS than SoD's fickle? My groups vary too much to get a consistent picture when raiding.

*having a bard in group, with their fire focusing songs makes the difference between bolt and fickle more pronounced, so I stand by my argument doubly if a bard is in group.

Sadly, in my guild caster dps very, very rarely get a bard in with them.

Con, there was data showing that yes bolt rank 3 in SoF was more DPS then Fickle in SoD when using lower tier spell haste from SoF or group gear SoD (the worn spell haste not cleric spell haste), however iirc once you got Tower pants spell haste then bolt rank 3 in SoF was not higher DPS then SoD Fickle. Personally, losing a GoM proc to gain marginal DPs does not seem worth it to me.

I use Ficle myself and not the old bolt, but i do have spell sets where I use old spells such as when I am doing elementals/constructs and i chain SoD and SoF anti-summoned nukes.
The same spell set has the SoF RS so when GoM procs, I can cast an RS and it is not wasted.
