Just comment on what Sillaen posted previously about rains. My rains never hit for 54 or 58K or total for up to 200K plus. My mage is 100 but doesn't have CotF so are there new rains in CotF?

That was a min/max illustration. There aren't any new rains.

Base 3 hits ~ low 40K ish - critical mid 160K ish if all 3 waves crit.
Base 4 hits ~ mid 50K ish - critical mid 220K ish is all 4 waves crit.

Your mileage varies depending on the RNG. I say "ish" because exact numbers depend on too many factors like AA's, focus etc... This is under standard self buffed non burn situations. This changes dramatically when burning with the right buffs.

Remember rains are some very efficient dpm spells and become even more so if you don't fight singles.

I max out at 48K on my Rains per time they fire. I try to watch it consistently and I've never seen it hit for more (non burn). Rains are certainly the way to go, I agree. I run solo or duo at most so mine aren't ever adjusted from adps.
