Can someone please confirm... this is not an actual proc correct? It just ADDS to the normal damage of your fire/magic/cold etc nukes correct? In other words I don't actually see in my log anything stating this has gone off. Also does this affect DOTS? On Lucy I cannot see anything which states that it is for instant cast only spells.. was just wondering.

I had a necro I raid with confirm that yes, these do proc with dots too. You are also correct, that they do not produce a message when it procs.

It is a proc, but doesn't produce a cast message in parsers. It will give an emote though: magic is "soandso twitches", fire is "soandso is seered by flames", or something to that effect. They don't add to normal spell damage (like gorenairs/talendors bard song) but rather an additional 'cast', like MR line or bard arietta.
