Well we have a way to drop aggro using a CON, but if you held the pet there is no need for the pet fade. What would be a unique ability is the new aa to not only drop the pet aggro but our own as well, now that would work. Wonder if they could incorporate that.

We got CoN to clear aggro off ourselves so I find it unlikely that we will ever get a fade for ourselves. In fact the initial idea behind CoN in SoF BETA was for it to be a mage Fade, not an multi target blur. That idea was modified by the Dev because some complexity with how fade worked. At the time I think most of us believed it was a better idea as saving an entire group / raid > saving just your butt. So ya, the Fade is almost certainly going to stay pet only. Many props to anyone who can change the devs mind on this.

I don't believe any one else suggested it, so unless Elidroth came up with it by himself, I can only assume hes going off my suggestion.

My reasoning was simply that there are times when Pet aggro can be problematic. When pet aggro > tank aggro and tank wants to reposition, when using fire pet and trying to kite, when you want to Summon Companion and he has aggro, when you want to suspend minion and cant cause he has aggro etc. But largely my suggestion was in case they were to implement a pet swap / 2nd suspend. Given how the current suspend works, I inferred that a pet swap would require non aggro, but I often find when I want to use suspend, or possibly a swap my pet already has aggro. Hence, pet fade suggestion.

If you don't like the idea, go ahead and get it removed or changed to something else, I wont be offended. But I wouldn't suggest trying to change the current AA to something that its not.
