Maybe it's because people see two different powers in effect because there are two entities. I'm guessing, if you rolled our pets' powers into us, not one person would bitch about our abilities.

I have only used them lightly, no earth though. The water and fire showed nice boosts, both nicely out parsed the air pet. Fire pet died do to AEs, was not hard to heal just had alot going on. Water pet was in a group, was nice damage just could not take it when he got agro. Took tons of healing and lost him a few times.
