Tellurian Stance - 231% increase over Earthen Stance (blocks 10,035 damage)

Tellurian Stance Rk. III - 137% increase over Earthen Stance Rk III (Blocks 30,135 damage)
Also mana cost on it seems to have only gone up 10%, so this category looks to be at least fixed better now. However rune is still probably more effective if mobs are hitting for a base of 3-4K
In my opinion this is the sort of thing BETA magi should look into tweaking.
The upgrade is great but on the wrong spell.
We need this kind of upgrade on Aegis not Earthen Stance.
The snare component and long recast and spell load time is a needless nerf IMO and I stopped using Earthen as soon as the improved Aegis came out.
Let Aegis block 25k at rank 3 and I will take the 5k less if they keep all the other properties the same.
I do agree that the recast should be shortened. The recast on aegis is 36 seconds, while our earthen stance line is 2 minutes. Aegis blocks 7-9 hits straight up, depending on which rank you have, while this prevents 20K of damage (assuming rank 2). Even just 7 hits from UF mobs can easily surpass 20K, and with aegis having no snare effect there's not much of a good reason to choose even the new earthen stance over aegis. In fact the only situation I can think of where earthen is the clear choice is if your pet is tanking a lot of weaker mobs, where the pet will be hit frequently for lower damage. Not to mention we can assume mobs from Thule will be hitting even harder than UF mobs, so I can't think of a good reason to use the stance over the rune. I do appreciate that they're actually trying to make it useful, I just don't see how it can compete with Aegis since it scales so well. Maybe if they unlinked the recast timers, then it would see more use.
I sure hope they alter all of the values of those spells else they are next to useless given the rk1 versions are worse or equal to current rk2 spells, and the rk2 spells are only slightly better than current Rk3's.
If they stay as is then there is goign to be virtually no power again at all (seems like they are all just +10% damage over the equivalent 81 to 85 spell) given this increase over old spells is far smaller than has happened in the past.

this is the point i tried to make in my earlier post where i suggested focusing on NEW abilities or spell ideas to throw at the DEV's.
The X-percent increase in existing abilities is standard and they will do that automatically cause it is easy and they can move on to coding the NEW things that all the other classes will ask for if the DEV's decide to grant their request.
Beta magi can suggest increases from the percentage upgrades we get automatically, but again IMO we should focus on getting things that will enhance us as a class.

Creation is going to get a retune down very soon. I'll take a look at Fungal Forest again as well. I've been working to get AAs complete before beta (just finished the final pass on them literally 15 minutes ago). I have some other work to finish up before we leave for Fan Faire, but immediately upon return from Las Vegas, we're going into T7 retune mode.
Originally we only planned to adjust the hard modes in Convorteum, but Ngreth also decided his raid (First Creation) needed a little tweaking as well. Other than the final raid, ONLY the Hard Modes for the raids are being adjusted.
The poll closes tomorrow (saturday) night, and I'll try to get the results together and submitted Sunday or Monday. I'll definitely have the results submitted before fan fair, though I don't know when they'll actually be leaving. I know if I was going to be there the 5th through the 8th for work, I'd blow a little vacation and take the rest of the week off as well, so they might not get to actually look at them until after fan fair.
