I remember when shaman epic was bugged so instead of a dot... it was a heal using the same format. I had shamans in CFU that would hang out in the noobie area of cities and hit bugs at random and watch noobs die

BTW during the same time frame a lot of people maxed out level, duel the shaman, shaman "dots" you with epic. Basically you couldn't die after that + healing + slow. Sad thing was, the patch that put that bug in had NOTHING to do with epics. It was just another stupid soe smurf.

yeah but it was fun and funny back in the day

it still is. i've gotten some great tells/occ chat after casting mod rods in lobby. i just hate for a young mage to train an aa not realizing they wont be able to use a much needed mana regen tool til they gear up some. for me, it was training companion of necessity rank 2 that caused me to lose an aa i'd liked a lot when it worked. at least we finally got a useful version in voa again.

I bet you anything that the mod rod AA stays broken for a few years, just like the bard AA's did!

I'm not holding my breath on the MR specialist. Better now to just ask for a mage only mod rod aa leaving the spell version for the other casters....if the spell version ever catches up to the mod shards.
