This is my latest brath parse, I'm particularly proud of it because I didn't have a bard, and no chanter spires or auras. I did use glyph of the cataclysm and 7th though to be fair. Wish i had chanter + bard though

For what it is worth our entire roster only has 1 active necro, and 2-3 bards (that generally go to melee DPS), and 4 chanters (2 of which rock for dps groups)
99.9999 percent of the time I do not get a bard at all. I get a necro maybe 15 percent of the time, and I get an enchanter 90 percent of the time. In this particular event I did have a chanter but due to circumstances pertaining to the event I was unable to recieve single target mana flare, or either DPS related chanter aura, so though I did have a chanter in my group none of their abilities boosted me on this particular parse.

That is sad, Township Rebellion is clearly one of the most respected guilds in all of EQ, but a gross inefficiency on raid setup. There are several posts on bard forums right now stating they add minimal (1K) DPS to mellee and much more casters, although bards are more bored in caster groups. I am starting to post my parses with and without a bard on the bard forums so people can see factual data (I can not touch your Brekt parse, assume u burnt glyph, 7th, and KISS or Staunch, but on average I do 8K DPS, and get 3.4K incremnetal DPS from a competent bard). And yes, I love chanters, but on raid encounters their incremental DPS to me is minimal (range, fire pots).

To be fair, I mean year we aren't perfect and our strengths as a force lay in other areas BUT for the sake of fairness the raid groups weren't all that bad I mean yeah I personally wasn't that well off on DPS support but the support didnt really go to waste either, Our wizards were burning about 10k dps higher than me and we've got rogues that with a lil luck can pump out 40k dps on a burn. I'm content with my performace as a mage but our class is really starting to lag behind the top parse classes - this is a pain that most mages will not start to really see till LATE tier 6 underfoot / early tier 7 underfoot raids.

Right now you are so far above me it's unbelievable haha. I'm wondering if you wouldn't mind posting your spell casting parse here like the cast what at what time and all that, gamparse should have it all there available. I'm new to mage so I'm sure i'm missing a lot of stuff i've been able to do pretty well I think but still a far way off from pulling almost 19k. So far i've gotten 16k max and done 12k for longer burns, but I always get a bard so I should be doing very well and I just get the feeling I'm missing something. Thanks for all the help you have already given me falore and other mages out there, i'm having a blast with the mage.

Assuming you are using 7th year + Glyph's
Are you using the "MULTI-BIND KEY" and the "WEAVE"?
