TC will never change, devs consider it way OP'ed as it is. It was hard to get them to just not nerf it.
Rain AA, wow are you joking? Why in the world would anybody want a rain AA??
The DS lines are good, just need to do more DMG / hit. The big issue is they are FAR FAR underpowered.
Mixing the BO / IF line comes up a lot, there are reasons to not do it as well... devs have given a LOT of pushback about grouping those 2 spells, and I'm not sure WHY IN THE WORLD anybody would want to add rune into that mix...
If you don't know how / when to use stance by level 95 I'm so so sorry for you....

Mages have always had mana regen issues, the gather mana line could be a bit more powerful. You have to be careful about making to too close to wizards or they will go nuts.... again.
A no drop mod rod has been asked for over and over for years, when elidroth tried to add it during the last beta he completely and totally smurf it up (surprise!!). He told mages he would get it fixed during live and never got it working. It will still be broken next beta as well given his past track record. There was a bard AA that stayed broke for almost 2 years that he kept saying he would get fixed "soon". IE don't hold your breath.
Mages have always had substandard magic based nukes (this was part of the core idea for the class when the game was first created). Many mages including myself feel its a good trade off. You can't just add good magic nukes, you would also need to have good magic based version of FC to make it useful. That woud have the effect of increasing our long term burns as well (ie burn with Fire, then reset and burn with Magic). This is something the devs have said in the past they didn't want to do. Magic based nukes without a magic based FC wouldn't be near as useful. Why bother asking them to work on new spells that most mages will not end up using due to smurf returns?

exigent minion wasn't a bad idea. It was put into the game UNDERPOWERED, thats the real issue. The idea was solid IMHO. Being able to get a *FREE* DoT on the mob thats able to be clicked between weaves is nice. Not sure WHY ANYBODY WOULD CALL THIS STUPID. My guess is you consider ice shards stupid as well?
Pet healing is underpowered and has been for a few exps now. Totally agree with you here.
Drape.. for the love of god just create a freaking hotkey and get it over. You can already do most of that if you just create a hotkey. Drape *shouldn't* be a 100% get out of jail free card. Where not a CC class.
Pets currently have crap DPS because the devs were playing with things that were already working and broke it, instead of fixing the 1203235235235 things in game that actually needed to be fixed. I agree mage DPS needs to be uped, but pet dps wasn't bad before they screwed the pets up with their "fix".
For the love of god why do smurf mages keep asking for the class to be turned into an enchanter??? We don't need a smurf charm and the issues that would go alone with it, and while I'm on this topic, we don't need updated slow / mez either!!! If you want enchanter abilities, play or box a damned enchanter.
