The Magician's Tower

Pallorax on Test server is bugged. It has been for quite a while. It currently regens about 20-30% hp when he runs to a different portal, each time he runs. We have a tough time with tower events, with usually only 3 clerics that attend most raids, but Pallorax has been trivial for many months now. Now, though, to kill him with all this extra hp he has, has become quite challenging. Thus, many casters including myself have been exploring ways to increase mana longevity and dps. In this pursuit, our top dpser, a wiz, suggested to me to try glyph of lost secrets (I had told him I always used glyph of the cataclysm).

WOW. In a 15 min fight or longer, use it, if you use glyphs. It allowed me to cast max dps weave (RS, Jolt, Bolt, Fickle) for a sustained 15 minutes after I had staunched in the middle of the fight, resulting in a tremendous amount of dps more than I get with Cataclysm. Next time you get a long raid fight, if you were going to use Cataclysm, try Lost Secrets instead. I think you will appreciate it.
5.6 million damage in 23 minutes.

Mana Preservation Tribute -- FTW

Sued...

Tribute has absolutely no effect whatsoever if you are already at your cap. About the only thing its good for is 250h/m/e.

Mana preservation dont stack with worn mana pres, mana regen dont add if you're max, even the one for 25pct mana pres on summoned spells dont work on RS pets.

Thats why I am only running Second Chance on tribute. Was quite funny to survive a DT on Plane of Sky.
