Stumbled across an online backup of the old forums...its unfortunately Jan 2008, but still might be some good info to pull off of the site from back then even.

Hmm I can't seem to find any content, the threads I click on are "not in archive", only top 2 levels of the site available?

Hmm...I only poked around in a few threads and guess I just got lucky on the ones I picked, as everything I selected worked...going thread by thread though, it does look like most of the forums weren't archived afterall. Oh well, sorry for getting folk's hopes up
