An Oddity with Arcane Distillect Rk.2

Air pet normal max hit is 716 (EM8). With AD it is 721.
Servant normal max hit is 1720. With AD it is 1917.
I went out on walkabout, put up AD, zoned, and began to fight some stuff. Air Pet max hit was 721 as expected. However, Servant max hit was 1720. I moved in and out of range and watched normal pet max change back and forth and Servant max hit stay the same to ensure I wasn't seeing things.
So, I removed AD and re-applied, and max hit of Servant started working as it should (max hit 1917).
I don't know why it is doing this (don't care, really), but be aware.
