Underfoot progression?

I haven't had to chance to start on this yet due to school and I imagine it will be hard to find groups to do this now since we're halfway to the next expansion.

Will I be able to solo any of this stuff? I have a 85 Enchanter and Druid I can box with the Mage, along with T5 mercs. Though from what I've read, the tank merc doesn't survive very long in Underfoot. I have EM4 for my pet.

Any suggestions are appreciated, thank you!

Uf isn't easy to box with groupgear only. The tankmerc is weak. Combining the druids shorttime hp-buff + attack debuffs, the chanters slow cripple + stuns may be sufficient to keep him alive.
Or drop the tankmerc and let the pet tank. At first I would get the EMV-focus. The "Servant's Bone" if you just go for 1 ph is a single pull/single kill from "Envoy Frindar".
If ypu are good in pulling with the chanter you can get another 2 ph right south from the "main" spawn point of frindar.

My crew when boxing now is mage, mage, mage, bard (+ 2 healermercs). All three mages have the Servants Bone. none of the 4 have more than 1,4k AA. Still working mostly on AAs to grow up, but all of the 4 have the UF Tradeskill-Armor and the boomerang stuff. The Tradeskill-Armor from UF is better than the best SOD-groupgear, as well as the Items for the invisible slots you can easily box from the boomerang-mission.

This weekend I got my first progression-step done: "Don't Fear the Destroyer". Got one wipe on the ambush 5 mobs befor the end which I expected and another unnecessary wipe because I let my pets die to enrange of the final mob. But he didn't regen back so after recovering there has been just 5% HP left to finish him off.

Some of the prerequired Brells tasks (if you want to be able to trigger the final by yourself) will be impossible to box. You may need a friend to trigger "Don't Fear the Destroyer". The other tasks from T6 and T7 should be possible to box.

I expect to be able to box all the progression tasks to get to T8, atleast once all chars of my boxcrew are arrived at 1,5k+ AAs. This weekend I didn't expect to make it throught, I was more curious like: "lets see how much is missing".

Generally spoken for progression you need just the final task of any zone, the others are just needed if you want to be able to trigger them.
You can move free in all zones T6 and T7 without any progression done, the first lock is that you need all final task of T6 and T7 befor you can zone to any T8 zone.

Use mage+enchanter and 2 cleric mercs, let the pet tank. This will allow you to camp some spots in UF T6 & T7 zones for loot.

However, "progression" requires doing quite a bit of work that often needs a full group. I've had missons that go 3 hours long and that's with 6 people, or 5 people and 1 cleric merc, doing them. If you are looking to get into T8 or T9 zones, you won't likely do it 2-boxing.

So far, all the progression missions for tier 8 access are definitely doable for you. Mage pets are great tanks if you have invested some AA's into them. CoH pulling can be used to single pull everything in the missions I've seen, just be prepared to spend a couple hours doing it. The hardest one is going to be Tasnise Underbelly, even after the re-tuning. I have EM7 and still lost pets on a couple of the named. For that one, just make sure you have a buffed pet prepped in your pocket and wait for Fortify to engage any of the named. Watch out for ghoul root when pulling, it's a bitch!

Some of the pre-tasks were for me more difficult than the missions themselves. With my duo, I have trouble with aggro-linked mobs or big crowds that can't be split so some of the pre-tasks were impossible unless I could bring in assistance. If I were you, I would ask around for someone who is flagged and could start the missions for you. Your milage may vary, but I found the Foundation pre-tasks easy, but with my duo I couldn't do all the pre-tasks for Pellucid or Brell's Rest and it was taking so long and costing so many deaths in Underquarry that I got someone to just start that one for me too.

Anyway you could be more specific? South of the room marked on the map? Where at in the room? Thanks for any info you can provide!

Out of memory: when you are looking in the room from north the first down on your right is a ph for the charm-item. Than close to the center (maybe a little to the left) there should be one cloes to a wooden thing. That should be a frindar-ph. On your right you would see 3 mobs almost aligned from bottom to up, one on each "step of the stairs" like aligned from center to the outer. There the one in the middle is another frindar-PH.
