The Magician's Tower

Hey guys, new to these forums as a mage but not knew to Eq. just came back from about 3 years away.. recently came back about 4 months ago and have levelºd a mage up to 71, he has basic gear in defiant. ive heard that the hole is good at level 71,,

Could anyone give me any tips as to What i should do best to maximise what i can do in the hole.... As i say he is very basic , NO AA Atm so just basic gear and spells.
