brand new to the game, please help.

im level 76 with 420 aa's so far. i have only been playing the game for a month or so, everyone is telling me i need to put points in all my pet aa's and im not sure exactly what aa's to get. can someone list the ones they mean? im looking to be a big solo'er and raid too. i have no problem getting the aa's i just need to know which ones to get. and im also having alot of trouble maintaining mana. which ones would best help my casting abilities?

There's a couple of threads in the library that should help you out. Look through these lists and they should be pretty easy to figure out which ones are more suitable for your style of play:

Just me but I use frenzied burnout and fortify companion a lot. Replenish companion and companion's blessing are nice as well.
Passive ones, companion's durability, companion's agility, elemental agility and durability are a must have. These should keep you going for awhile.
