level 79 mage needs some advise

good evening,
i am a 79 mage with 1200 aa point and mostly geared in elegant defiant armor.
i startet casual playing like 3 month ago and went up form 68 to 76 in paw, and 76 to 79 in katta. made like 700 aa in that time so those two places are kinda boring after that time i spend in there.
so i need some advise for kinda fast regular exp to catch up a bit. since my playing times are kinda odd i mostly run around solo. so what would be nice places to solo/molo from 79 up? and what would be the follow up gear to my elegant set?

Splitpaw is still good xp/aaxp until level 81......if you go into the basement. You get there by going through the first set of double doors and around the "pillar" then drop into the pit on the left. The mobs in the pit/basement will remain light blue until 81, at 82 they all turn green. Although beza will net you more xp per kill splitpaw mobs are soo much easier that you'll get more xp/aaxp over time in paw.
