I am seeing things about the December Patch.

Are we expecting something in the December patch?

Every class is getting a lot of crucial AAs in the December patch. They held the IRC chats (Chats with Elidroth about AA changes/New AAs) late so the changes could not go in before the expansion went live because they needed testing to be done on them.

So, yes we will be seeing new AAs and such come December.

Anyone have a IRC Chat log of the conversation?

We are not allowed to post things from beta forums on other forums, so I can not post it here. Other mages MIGHT have the direct logs though.

Here's what I was able to pick up on Beta for our Dec AA's. AFAIK this very moment, the patch will be Wed. Apologies if I missed some because Eli didn't post what we got, just that we had "new aa's". Next to each one is the level req and cost with a short description, if known, below it. Please, if you notice an error or omission, feel free to post it =) [KoAC = Knowledge of Alaran Culture].

Was a 2/5/10% increase on mana return (and damage) but Eli “changed it”

Quickened Host of the Elements
10% reduction in cast time

Hastened ITC (91/92/93/94/95) 9/11/13/15/17
Reduces ITC reuse by 2m per rank

Hastened Companion’s Relocation (95/95/95) 9/11/13
Reduce cast time by 1s per rank.

Sure hope thats not a complete list. Thats not near the DPS bump the class needs to be even remotely close to where rogues are now...

If i remember right from beta, somebody parsed out the damage to 500ish more sustained DPS and 7k-9k? burst dps. I talked to someone who said something along the lines of with FBO on, the pet does all 675k damage in ~60 seconds and 90 seconds with just burnout. Also remember, pre-castable on pet then suspend.

Perfected IVU and Group Perfected IVU
To my knowledge nobody asked for these (recently). They just appeared randomly after beta for the December patch.

Quickened FBO and Quickened Host of the Elements
If i remember right Eli said 1 second cast time for these. But gave necro's a .25 for their FBO AA. Eli then gave us enough AAs to lower it from 2 seconds to 1.6 seconds. At least last time i checked in beta.

Hastened ITC
20 minute recast on ITC is awesome.

On beta it was posted this brough up cirt damage mod from 300% to 305%, 310% and 315% at max.

Fury of Magic 19,20,21
Parsed at i think 2% per rank, should bring us from 40% cirt chance to 46%.

Eli also said we'd get a new malo in IRL, to my knowledge that was never put on beta.

VT can't be kept up indefinitely, it has a moderate recast time. Depending on what you are going to use it for matters on it's dps. If you are using it as a burn disc, then it'll be about 5k dps over 2m; if you are using it as a sustained bump, then obviously it's gonna drop more and be considerably lower.

Yes, it's a very sweet aa to cast on pet suspend, bring pet out later, let procs wear off then recast immediately.

I have no idea why the parser has a 1.5s recast except to think that's the failed recast timer (i.e. if you move you have to wait 1.5s to try again). It was either 10 or 20m to recast but my memory is a little fuzzy there.

My favorite is IVU and I even asked Eli if that was an error before I posted that as our ability. Chanters get it too. What makes it funny is that many used to ask for it and were basically told we'd get it when Hell freezes over.
