Another patch passes with no mage DPS issues addressed. Could we get a status update from our vora / PJ? I'm sure many mages out there would love to know whats going on, if anything. The more the devs are left idle the more mage issues will be ignored.
Plus, I'm sick of seeing only posts in politics area of the board.... only so much of that BS you can see before you go nuts!

Everyone is being ignored currently.
Everquest is going Free to Play in March or whatever. It is safe to say that is where all their time is going, or the majority of it is anyway. Wizards were supposed to get a DPS increase in January patch with nothing. Monks were supposed to get a Hate's Attraction like ability in February patch, nothing. Berserkers were supposed to have decapitate issues looked at in a patch, nothing.
I personally have 4 ignored PMs with regards to our DPs increases from Elidroth. He did suffer a death in the family plus other RL issues, but he also posted in the monk thread that his boss told him to do work on something (F2P any1?), and ignore/back burner other things. My wizard counterpart (non-CRT member, but connections with devs), has also been getting ignored.
Unless Vora knows otherwise, fairly certain there is just no information out there from the devs about fixing things.

Of course as I post I have had 0 response back from Eli, he PMs me.
Said he was going to take a look into some things to see what can be done for us this week (unsure if that means next week seeing as today is Thursday tho).

Yeah, their time has been a bit fractured, it turns out. It's also fair to say a lot of their time is being spent on the F2P stuff but it isn't taking all of their time.
I know there are some fix suggestions in and I've already pointed out an inconsistency with our Bolt (it's dmg is too low atm) to Aristo; so they are still paying attention to issues but I suspect Smed, Phathom, and Ngreth have them spending most of their time hammering out F2P issues as they arise. After all, it looks like EQ is getting a massive overhaul to compensate for this program.
I agree, it's frustrating. If your PM's are going unnoticed, bring them to me through here, or eqlive boards. I'll bring them up to the devs myself just to cover our bases. If I bring an issue up to them, sometimes they give me a good place to send the info so they can work on it. Actually, I've done that a few times and it has led to things being fixed really fast; so it's probably good practice to inform me on an issue that seems to go ignored or unanswered.
