What's the current best range slot item for pets?

Returning player (4 year break) and back then
http://www.eqtraders.com/items/show_ite ... 5000000000 was the best range slot for pets. Just wondering what the current reigning champ is after all these expansions. Thanks!

As far as I see, that is about as good as a range item as there is in the game that is affordable to give to a pet. That being said, the stats from that item are so minimal, that I doubt it is going to give much benefit to your pet.

there are defiant orbs for range i use for twinks, but never gave to a pet. would this work? they're fairly common.

I give Elegant Combatant's Shard to my pets.
