Go to OGH, Bloody Kith, or OGV and start void group progression.
I started mine at lvl 80 in OGH and currently have finished the Bayles Aug, the FOS aug, made lvl 83 and have 2 group missions left to do in Rathe to make Void E. Experience is slow in SoD but working toward the nice augs and merc upgrades and group armor make it fly right by.
EQ Raspers is your friend

OGH is Ocean Green Hills (Qeynos Hills, 500 years in the past)
OGV is Ocean Green Village (Qeynos, 500 years in the past)
Bloody Kithicor (Kithicor Forest, 500 years in the past)
You can solo there easily and if you hire a merc cleric it is even better. When underfoot launches, those new zones will have an automatic progression/ leveling up advisor built into the new UI which will advise you on the best way to level and improve your character. It's a very cool game now.

sounds awsome
kinda odd though lol when i last played it was really hard to solo I think in the expansion the drakkin came out in the mobs that were for leveling hit for around 2k and you basicly required a group to level lol
so nothing like that?

Have a look at bazaar for "defiant" gear or "archaic". The defiant stuff is plentyful there and usually cheap, the archaic is a little better but rare.
Some tradable slot 7 augments also named with "defiant" might be found there also.
The foci nowadays are bound to slot: for example the firefocus is now to be found at the arm-slot, magic focus at the head.
Some invisible slots can be upgraded at pok, there are defiant vendors north of soulbinder. For the ear-slot there can be found a petfocus also, not shure if the availabe one there would be an upgrade for you.
For progression SOD is the way to go as mentioned already. For xp/aas some SOF-Zones might be faster. Gyrospire Beza might be a good place. Outside of the tower thers place enought and its easy to pull singles there.

You are also at a prime spot to head to splitpaw and grind AA's till your nose bleeds. Although it's been revamped (elementals stole it from the gnolls) the mobs are still pretty easy compared to most newer zones. If you really are under 200 aa's like your magelo says just stop levelling and live in splitpaw or awhile. After splitpaw you won't find a better aaxp spot.

Danille mentioned hiring a merc for soloing, that's good advice. You might have trouble finding out good info on those since most of the merc posts on the messag boards are pointless debates about them. You can hire mercs in the starter cities and also in PoK. Choose any race, they don't matter except for flavor. You have two joices, a tank or a cleric. THere is an initial hiring fee and a recurring fee every 15 minutes that you have your merc up and running (they can be pocketed when not in use), the fee goes up as you hire better mercs. The better ones are unlocked via progression in SoD.

Hey wait, I want to throw my 2cp in too! If your 76 and your not sure, I would also suggest starting by hiring a merc cleric. You do this in Plane of Knowledge (use Ctrl+F) to use the finder to find a merc vendor (I like the gnome clerics since they are small). Once you have the merc, head over to the Akanon portal stone and zone to Steamfont. Run towards the windmills in the distance and past them on the right is a tunnel entrance to a mine shaft. Run through there and when you emerge, keep right and enter a 2nd mine shaft. Zone into Dragon Scale Hills.
If you don't have maps head over to EQmaps and grab the latest ones (it makes it easier). As you come into DSH there are a group of tents on the right side and you can do some quests there for extra experience while hunting at The Farm (The Farm is an area just beyond and below the tents) that will offer great experience when you combine killing/looting with the repeatable quests offered at the tents. When you get bored at the farm you can move on to the fairy tower further into the zone. Just inside the fairy tower on the left is another quest guy. You should do quests there for experience and faycite. When you save up enough faycite you will want to buy an earring that the quest guy sells for a decent pet focus item (Pet focus makes your pet stronger). Concentrate on Ladies of the Light faction quests and Rebel Brownie faction. The Rebel Brownies let you get access to our most powerful spell line (Servant). Your rank 2 Servant is going to be needed in your 80 to 85 because you don't get a replacement until 85. My favorite spot to hunt in DSH and do Rebel Brownies is just outside the Fort killing Minos. Save everything that they drop and you can make 5 to 10k in cash per day killing there and even more if you sell the tradeskill items in the bazaar. Your goal, equipment wise is to start with Elaborate Defiant Silk but as soon as you can you want to move to the Glowing stuff (will cost you more money). Do a bazaar search for Glowing Athlai or Glowing Othni . Glowing Othni makes the best armor but it is the most costly to buy in the bazzar . To see what armor it makes just put the term Glowing A into the Allakhazam site to see the stats and location of turn in guy in PoK zone. For jewelry spots (Bracers, Neck, Rings, Earrings and face ) buy in the bazzar Dwerium trio jewellry and insert a 1 Shimmering Nihilitem, 1 round cut Emerald and 1 round cut Opal (you do this insertion stuff at a birdbath, nearest one is just as you enter the bazaar hang a a right and just as you enter the room the birdbath is there. It looks like a table with water on it). When you make your jewelry. Each piece when equipped will give you 400 HPS and 400 MANA per piece!
OK so you have pet focus done. You have your Cauldron spell with the Ladies of Light faction (can skip this but it is pretty neat). You have your Servant. Then I would head to Ocean Green Hills to start on SoD progression. You want to do solo tasks to build faction so that you can later grab your Twincast Spell (another real good one) but eventually you will need help for the group tasks. When that is done you are on to Bloody Kithicor and more solo tasks to build faction. You will want to do those too since the spell vendor has 2 great slot 3 augs that boost your 2 main DD spells and you will want that boosted for later on. Once you are through Bloody Kith progression you are on to Field of Scale and this is where you will finally be able to upgrade all your armor and jewelry and get a new pet focus item from Zeb in The Void. You will be pretty powerful by the end of Field of Scale progression since you will be wearing Tier 3 armor and most of jewelry spots will have new items too. At Level 85 you will able to use your new Servant spell (sold in Field of Scale) and on each progression you will be able to upgrade your merc too (better mercs are another key and reason for progressing).
Now theres a plan that should take you to Dec when Underfoot launches. At least there is not going to be a level bump and the new spells should compliment what you have worked for.
