i think its great.
So we lose beaming (had to go anyways). But all other forms of swarming are also finally going.
Though it was pretty petty killing headshot, since rangers cannot swarm, but kill one at a time. But I suppose they had to do something to keep the rogues and berzerkers in line.
And plus, all AAs under lvl 86 are auto granted. Each new expansion gives another expansion's worth of auto-grant AAs.
Alts can now be a toy instead of a chore.
So we lose beaming (had to go anyways). But all other forms of swarming are also finally going.

Agreed, I think it's necessary. Mage beaming is one of those gray-area exploits (which I never used, anyway) that needed to go. Couple it with the fact that it causes lag, well, you have my support to swing that nerf bat.
The auto-granting AAs is also awesome and I'm mind-boggled that there's been so many complaints.

My perspective is different, since I'm a CRT. I understand everyone else's perspective so here's mine:
Good riddance. I'm tired of all the whining related to swarm killing (and not just regarding our class). Entire days of play were lost, to me, because I'd have to listen, or respond, to this incessant whining.

Server performance wise, I'm good with killing swarming in it's current form. I'm sad for rangers as HS was nerfed eons ago and they don't swarm so that's horrible for them.
I'm not down with auto granting AAs though. That's just crap. What they should do is give a set amount of AAs as you level to spend as you see fit, or at the very least give everyone 3-4K AA's to spend as they see fit. If they wont do that, then leave it alone. All this cookie cutter crap has to stop.
