Mammoth Strenght vs Rathe's

I noted that Mammoth Strength, when casted along with Unity overwrites my pet's rathe's aura. Checking on Alla's it shows Mammoth to be 8% and Rathe's to be 10% (and it affects all surrounding pets).

1) is it ok then to use rathe over Mammoth for pet
2) In my ongoing quest to try and fit in as many buffs as possible onto myself, Mammoth does NOTHING for us casters right? this only applies to melee skills?

Our Burnout line already provides a self dmg increase more than what Mammoth can provide, and Rathe will increase all pets surrounding your own (any Swarm, and other people's pets). So to answer your question, mammoth's strength isn't going to be better.

Burnout VIII
2: Increase All Skills Damage Modifier by 12%
3: Increase STR by 131
4: Increase Attack Speed by 85%
5: Increase ATK by 85
6: Increase AC by 39

Mammoth's Strength
7: Increase All Skills Damage Modifier by 6%

To answer your other question. Yes Mammoth's Strength helps us, but only if you're meleeing hehe. In other words it's a pretty useless buff as even if we have the best melee weapon in the game, it still won't amount to much dps.

Thanks for the info... yah it might have different slots but they overwrite each other. At times I have rathe on pet and someone casts MGB unity and it gets overwritten. If I cast Rathe, it then overwrites the Mammoth`s portion back again.

That's why i added Mammoth's Strength to blocked pet buffs

I always take Mammoth's off of my pet before I use aura. The things that Rathe's adds to EVERY pet out-weighs what mammoth would add solely to your pet. Seeing as we use our swarm, servant, and garg pet during everday life the aura is much better to have on your pet then Mammoth's.
