The haunting air has caused a strange phenomenon to occur. From 2pm PDT on Friday, October 30th until 10am PST until Tuesday, November 2nd, several rare encounters will double the rate of their appearance.

Someone feel free to chime in when you have this figured out as it relates to "several rare encounters" and "double the rate of their appearance"?

Maybe it is raids. Maybe they'll let Pallorax emit some big scary skulls too since he can't Fear anymore.

I'm guessing it means that random named in open group zones are spawning more.

Could be wrong though.
