Augs for primary slot group items for casters are pretty much non-existent.

The only ones I can think of off the top of my head is one from DoN vendors that is like 10 HP and some resists and one from Tipt that is 30 HP / 30 mana.

Though the item in question is slot 7 instead of slot 4, there may be a few other options, but I'm not sure. Someone else might know of another one.

Black Tome with Silver Runes is a slot 7, not 4, so it's much easier to find one.

The Shield of the Otherworld would be the next one down from BiC. Unlike BiC, you can do the quest solo with a merc if you're careful.
