this site builds containers for EQ. at the top of each container are 7 gear slots for making it easy to swap out gear quickly. you can add these to each char individually if you make a new UI folder for each char.

however! the person who made this site hasnt played EQ in quite a while. ive been looking to copy the code to another page somewhere in case it ever needs to be updated. unfortunately i dont know very much about xml so i dont know what im doing there.

anyone have suggestions?

anyway, i dont think i could play the game without these containers, im totally addicted to them. they're awesome for quickly swapping out clickies.

Was going to look at this... but I get some error about a firewall issue. It's not being generated from my computer, as far as I can tell. Also, really can't figure out what it's purpose is. The page is pretty vague.

I got that same issue with the Firewall. At first I thought it was due to trying the bag generator at work. /shame
I tried it at home and got the same issue.

this is why id love it if someone would remake the site. wish i knew more about xml.. the bags are really, really convenient, i love them.

if anyone wants to try to rebuild this site, i bet i could help if they got stuck

I figured out what the issue is. It's with the website itself - they need to reconfigure something with the hosting, at least according to the message.

Anyway, if you watch the address bar after clicking generate, for a split second, it contains a link then changes to the firewall page. With the empty bag I generated, the link was:
Simply changing the last backslash (\) to a forward slash (/) will correct the issue and let you download the UI xml file.

I still don't see what this does though.

it puts 7 gear slot windows on the top of each container. they work. so you can put all your clicky gear into 1 bag, open it, and the gear slots the gear goes into are right there at the top of the bag. it makes it very convenient.

the web site makes the containers and assigns the slots you want to the slots it has. everyone has different clickies, so they need to access different gear slots. this generator makes sure the right slots are at the top of the bags.

the owner of the site quit when they merged the pvp servers (or maybe even a bit before then) so you can see its been a while, and i dont think hes going to come back and update the site. if i knew more about xml, id remake the site so that it worked right. (or is it html id need for the site? or even php? i dunno... im totally lost)

I'd be willing to host it here if someone wants to figure it out.
