Was not a big deal for me in SoD so i never blocked any merc spells, but with the higher hitting mobs in UFO can anyone tell me which merc spells are worth blocking and why?

The only spell I block is the promised line on my pet.
The reason is, you can cast that one yourself. If you and the cleric both cast, only 1 will hold. You would rather the cleric just keep spamming heals and not use the promised one, so you block it.
When I'm doing something big, I usually have promised, Aegis, and my own pet heal all up. Hit promised and aegis everytime it refreshes.

block Cheal. It sucks, and the mercs won't cast anything else on the pet if they've casted Cheal on it.

Hey guys. Sorry to bump an old thread, but I'm coming back from a long afk (right after UF was released) and I'd love to know which spells to block as well? Or is there a site which shows the exact names of the spells/levels of cleric merc heals? Thanks.

I usually block the latest promised heal and single heal over time on pet and me. Helps merc cast better heals more.

I haven't seen my merc cast one single promised on my pet. I always have to do it. Is it based on a reaction mode? I always use reactive. Or have I just been unlucky with how the pet takes damage that the merc doesn't use it?

I thought they removed PR and CH out of merc lines ups quite a while back. I could be wrong though.

They were supposed to have. Thought maybe something changed and I missed it.
