Hello I just returned to eq after about 4 or 5 years of being away. I am 72 now and was wondering which aa's I should concentrate on to help my pet tank better while I solo. I have about 400 aa's , but most are in the offensive(flurry and fury). Basically what i am getting at is I want to get away from using merc since he takes a lot of exp away and try to work on just pet tanking for me. Or would you suggest just using a merc healer and and put more dps aa's on myself and on my pet? Any advice would be appreciated.

Companions Agility.
Companions Durability.

Those will help you pet tank much more effectively. I'd advise you get them maxxed.

Not directly related to what you are asking but for what it's worth stay level 72 and clean up in the hole. The zone xp modifier down there is disgusting and you'll never see an aaxp rate like you wil in the hole. Splitpaw and Plane of Fire are reasonably close at higher levels but you really need to stay level 72 for as long as possible and grind out aa's in the hole until you want to puke. I'd even go so far as to recommend getting all the aa's you can get at your level down there (barring the obvious stuff like innate wisdom, etc.) and bank 30 before dinging 73.

Here's a google doc spreadsheet of our AA's.

I wish when I was lower 70s a month/month and a half ago, I could have used the Hole for AA. Damned Underfoot!!
