For all intents and purposes, it just doesn't matter nowadays.

Gnomes can Tinker. Neat, that.

But they're short, which means you can't (eupehmism) to get through walls using your goblin illusion.

Also, being short is a real bummer. You can't see. And steps are irritating.

And they have a potato-like nose.
