With that setup I would think a beastlord would better suit you. Otherwise your warr is going to get beatdown a good amount by the mobs w/o slow. You lose a good amount of DPS switching from a mage, but you gain survivability with the BL slowing. Not to mention decent buffs as well for the warr.

I would imagine that he will be using Merc clerics to keep the warrior up, so the mage can be a good fit.
Some people I group with have said they prefer Air pet stuns plus mage DPS over slows from certain classes.

The only time WAR/ROG, etc don't work with a mage, in my experience, is if you want the mage pet to be the tank.

Well, I have weighed the options about losing the beastlord buffs, and the beastlord slow. I was thinking along the same lines as qibrme... the mage air pet should be able to stun a good bit, and that could almost act like a weak to moderate slow itself. As for losing DPS from the mage, I wouldnt think I would if I use the hotkeys, and the weaves you guys talk about in some other posts. Once I get a couple hundred AA's on the warrior and the mage (the rogue has about 220), I would think that I could get aggro with the warrior and keep it, with no problem, so I wouldnt have to spend the whole time on the warrior. I will give the mage a shot, and if he doesnt work out I will go to the beastlord, who is already 65. I have also toyed with the idea of making a 4th account, which would of course be a shaman or enchanter (leaning more toward the shaman).

What about Warrior, Mage, Beastlord? Slows, buffs, tanking, and even mage pet for off tank and beastlord pet for temoporary off tank. Also, I definitely will not be lacking on DPS, escpecially after about 200 aa on mage and beastlord, since i wil be putting all points into the pets on both. Then 200 on each into the actual cahracters dps. Should work out quite nicely:)
