Some AA questions

Post by Jedis »

How effective is Elemental Alacrity? I just maxed Elemental Fury and am wondering if I should work on maxing Elemental Alacrity, or if I should finish the Underfoot ranks of Mental Stamina and begin working on Expansive Mind instead?

Also, I haven't put any points into Combat Agility or Combat Stability. Should these be a priority? I try not to get hit, but it looks like it may be worth doing the first 3 ranks of each. I am not sure how effective the other ranks are. I stopped at rank 25 of both on my enchanter, since it made sense on him, but he doesn't get hit all too much either.

EDIT: I was going to ask someone to look at my AAs on EQplayers, however the counts are not correct for individual AAs. The total AA count is accurate, but not much else.

You should definately max Elemental Alacrity. Remember, this affects your pet, the RS, and the swarm pets. It's quite valuable. And I always go DPS first for any AAs, so this qualifies.

Defensive AAs aren't as important, but every little bit helps. I use my Stone Core button quite often for example. I would recommend getting at least level 5 in each.

Shouldnt Alacrity produce higher dps increases than fury, because when your pet flurries, those extra hits can crit as well.

Should always go pet AAs over things like Expansive Mind and mental stamina. Those are both marginal upgrades to mana and wont provide a huge burst of mana, whereas maxing out a pet dmg AA will increase their maximum DPs by a good amount more then what you would get in mana.
