Speaking of Mage Class Personality

In another post I allude to the Mage Class "personality", which has often been don't rock the boat, go with the flow, etc. I don't know too many Mages who make the kind of stink we have seen on eqplayers forms in the wake of the HA nerf, the SK riposte nerf, the Paladin splash, the Necro outcry over a potential (then withdrawn) nerf of their Deathbloom ability.

Those guys cry until devs cry "Uncle". I keep seeing it.

We had a pretty huge nerf to our aura. The old aura was nerfed after YEARS so that it only affects the group's pets, not all in its radius. The new aura works that way also, and FURTHERMORE is centered on the Mage instead of the pet.

Multiply that by the 203984230923 pets you see on raids.

Pretty HUGE impact and it has come and gone with nary an outcry.

Sometimes I think we need a nasty Mage around.
