Circle of Mana I

Circle of Mana I

As a grouping mage I dont have access to rank II or III of this effect - so I am wondering if its even worth using rank I compared to simply keeping the pet aura up. Any insight would be most welcome.

This stacks with everything else so is well worth having. There are generally 4-5 mages in my guild on any given raid and we try to coordinate rotating this during a burn.

Since you only group I don't think that it would really be worth using this aura over our new crappy pet aura. Circle of Mana effects are mainly useful in raids just because in raids you don't have any med time during an event and the mana clickies do take off a considerable amount of mana per spell cast. But in groups normally you get a med break every now and again (killing a named, piss break, food ect.) so it really is not needed in the group game.

Don't get me wrong if you did use this in a group (probably if you were chain killing), it would absolutely increase your DPS/DMG by giving you more mana to work with. But in any old group I don't really see a need to use Circle of Mana clickies over our aura.

Hope that helps. :D

The best way to go is always group with other mages. That way someone can still provide the pet aura :D
